What is a termite reticulation system?
It’s a network of pipes installed around your home’s perimeter that delivers termiticide into the soil, creating a treated zone termites can’t cross undetected. It’s refilled periodically to stay effective.
How often should a reticulation system be refilled?
Most systems need a refill every one to three years depending on the product used, soil conditions and your home. We’ll advise the right cycle for your system after inspecting it.
How do I know if my home has a reticulation system?
Look for filling points or junction boxes around the perimeter, often near taps or garden beds. If you’re unsure, we can identify it during a visit.
What happens if the system has a leak or blockage?
We check the system’s condition as part of the service. If we find a fault, we’ll explain your options: a repair or, where needed, a retrofit barrier.
Do I still need an annual termite inspection after a refill?
Yes. A refill restores the chemical barrier, but an annual inspection is your early-warning system and is recommended regardless of the system in place.
